When examined from a skewed profile angle in good light, you’ll find a perfect way to witness the popularity of green sapphire crystals. From the front, the crystals tone down the sunburst blue dial somewhat, but turn it slightly to one side in the sun, and a magical green ring surrounds the dial, giving the watch one of the chief rebellious cues. The green halo is the result of the crystal being raised slightly above the contours of the polished bezel in a different way than other Rolexes. It appears to be cut at the exact same slope as the bezel itself, almost like the bottom two levels of a step pyramid.
Digging into the details, when the watch is turned in direct light, the light is reflected in the propeller movement, shimmering in countless perfect radial stripes on the blue dial. Thankfully, there were no dates and Cyclops footage to interrupt the show. However, the show is thoroughly stolen by the intense orange seconds hand, boldly done with lightning-sharp and jagged shapes. Not only is the lightning bolt unexpected on a serious luxury watch, but it dominates the dial in an extremely long way, hitting the outermost edge of the dial, giving the impression of almost shattering the edge of the green crystal. It takes a little while to see Zeus’ tools make a Rolex sweep across the dial surface, and the results are fascinating.
My initial opinion was that the minute and hour hands were too small for the size of the watch. When I compared them to the same hands on the 41, I realized that they looked small only because of the visual impact of the lightning hands on the rest of the dial. I believe this feature will be a major factor in most people’s decision to buy a 1733.

This really is an outstanding beautiful watch - absolutely amazing at this price point. The bracelet is surprisingly good - comfortable, with screw links. But the micro adjustment on the bracelet is unusable - there are no holes on the clasp that allow you to depress the spring bars to take advantage of the 3 adjustment holes?? What gives?

A beautiful little watch especially for such a reasonable price. Not surprisingly, the bracelet leaves something to be desired, particularly the clasp which is difficult to open. That being said, i plan to put it on an orange rubber strap so i am very satisfied.

Arrived in a few days. Watch is very accurate on the time grapher. Link removal is easy as the pins have screw heads. Couldn’t figure out how to use the micro adjust.

Very nice watch. The case is properly polished and looks good, and the dial is easy to read. I particularly liked the bracelet, which has solid links and uses screws rather than pins. The screws make adjustment very simple and easy, and the watch even comes with the right sized tiny screwdriver to remove and replace the pins. Overall, getting an automatic watch that is this good for the price is truly impressive. The only potential negative is that the watch wears larger on the wrist than you might expect from the case dimensions, in large part due to how thick it is. My wrists are on the large end as far as diameter (8 inches/20cm), and i think people with wrists much smaller would find this watch a bit bulky.

I love almost everything about this watch. I love the colors on the face. I love the lightning bolt second hand. I love that it's an automatic. I love the feel of it. I love the size of it. The only thing i don't love is the frustratingly complicated and hard to adjust bracelet. Though removing links is a piece of cake, the micro-adjustment is just there to haunt you. There is 0 access to the pin to adjust its position. As you can see from the side, the watch needs to be one micro adjustment smaller.
A good homage of the rolex milgauss (which had been discontinued). It is comfortable and well made. The clasp is a bit of a pain to adjust, but otherwise a solid piece.

Sturdy. Has screws to adjust the links in the bracelet. After some minor fiddling, got the band to fit perfectly. Watch case size has an understated elegance to it.
Really good-looking watch, love the color combo with the seconds hand and the dial. The watch is gorgeous and seems to be of quality build. The stainless steel bracelet looks nice, but broke when adjusting it. One of the screws sheared off and the micro adjustment is a complete joke. The item shipped quickly.
