I was so impressed by the quality of the militado ml05 that i purchased this second one in a different color. The printing on the dial is clear and sharp and the finishing on the case is completely consistent. The screw-down crown threads in smoothly and everything about the construction feels extremely solid. The seller shipped quickly with the watch arriving in just nine days to the western united states. Just like the first ml05 i ordered, the watch had to immediately demonstrate its ruggedness as the delivery person for the last mile carrier gofo express threw the package ten feet onto our brick porch. The packaging was damaged, but fortunately the watch survived intact. Excellent service by the seller. Horrible service by gofo express.
The watch is perfect for what it is built for . The quartz movement is so much like an automatic without the headaches . Only negative is the strap .

Looks great. Dial changes between tan and green depending on the angle of the light. I like the strap. Keeping correct time as expecyed from the excellent seiko mech-quartz movement.
The watch looks very good in person. Fit and finish is well done.the strap was not as comfortable as others i've tried, but this was expected as i read other reviews stating this. I purchased the watch for about $40 (not including shipping) in 09/2025. Great value for the money.

Good, nice and cheap. You don't need more. Sapphire, stainless steel, good VH31 movement. Made to last. Cons: For the size of the watch, the "lug to lug" is excessive and on wrists like mine, very thin, it looks a bit big and disproportionate. The strap is not the best, the glass has no treatment so it gets dirty and shines too much and in the dark it looks little. But these are minor defects that for the price and quality offered, one shouldn't be obsessed with.

I love this watch because of it's classic, logo-free military look. What you can't see in the ad is the case back, which is brushed (not sandblasted) and has the militado name stamped into it. For the .003 percent of shoppers for whom this would be an issue, militado's ml10 model has a no-logo sandblasted back. And the case, while chunkier, is still faithful to the classic field watch. It costs a couple of escudos more, but it's a worthy alternative to a really good-looking watch.
